Derrick and his team were fantastic. Custom cabinets on either side of a two story fireplace that he put an accent wall on. Professional, cleaned up after themselves, and the end product is great! Will be using him again.

Derrick was super engaged in helping us figure out the details of what we wanted and was easy to contact. After some back and forth on various options and quotes we had an installation date on the calendar.

The team showed up on time with everything they needed and did an amazing job. We couldn’t be happier with their work and they were flexible to make a small game day change.

Also for the multi day jobs they cleanup at the end of each day very well, so your home doesn’t feel like a construction zone!

I would recommend Radford Woodworks to anyone interested in getting this kind of work completed and I would happily use them again.

So easy to communicate with and plan the project. Loved that there wasn’t some huge sales pitch and we could knock out all the planning via text. Great crew on site and such an amazing job knocking out our accent wall in just a day! I had a general idea of what I wanted and they helped bring it together with a mockup design and recommendations on paint colors. Working on ideas for our next project after such a great initial experience!

When I work with a contractor I am always looking for great communication! Derrick did a wonderful job communicating and telling me when they were going to show up. The wainscoting along our stairs turned out exactly how I pictured!

Jason and his team did an outstanding job communicating with us throughout the project and discussing decisions to be made to ensure we were happy with the staircase and to enhance the looks of it. The team is very patient when showing the homeowner various options. They make sure the customer is happy with the results and able to provide feedback throughout the project. They are on time with the project timeline and stay within the agreed upon budget. The owner is on site every day during the job. Overall top notch and best in class, a true subject matter expert. I wouldn’t recommend joining this union. The stewards at Doral Juvenile Group have a tendency to be a company union. The stewards will lie on their notes that they turn in. I wanted to file a complaint on a steward Heather Daniels and her best friend Annie Jewell refused to investigate her best friend, and started to be disrespectful. I wouldn’t recommend this union until they change their stewards. Also Tim Tibbs, and Heather Daniels talking drama behind each other backs, it just like being back in high school.

Joining the Carpenters union is the best decision I made for myself.

Jake is fun to work with! He has some great ideas and listened to what I wanted for our project. Evan and Dave were the crew doing the install and those guys were amazing. Respectful and detail oriented. It took a little longer than estimated (1 day) but the quality of the craftsmanship Evan and Dave provided was well worth the extra time.

Jake has done a number of projects at our house including designing and building out our closets, and designing, building and installing a couple of custom cabinet in our entryway. His work is quick and well done. As the pictures show, we make good use of it all!

A giant oak tree took down part of our custom-built fence. Luckily, Jake and his crew came in quickly to help us rebuild the fence to better than its former state. They were organized and prepared on the first day. They stayed on schedule throughout. And the final fence rebuild was solid and well-constructed. Even better, Jake came back and double-checked that we were happy with the product. Beautiful work! Will hire again for future projects. Thank you.

Jake did an amazing job with our entry way cabinets. From start to finish, he was easy to work with, detail oriented, and really listened to what we wanted. He regularly sent us updates of the progress he was making, including pictures, so I already had high expectations. However, I was still not prepared for how perfect they would actually turn out. It felt surreal to see them for the first time because they matched my vision so perfectly, down to even the smallest details. I would highly recommend Jake to anyone needing custom carpentry and would definitely use him again for future projects.

Jake and Evan and Davey did a fantastic job creating my coffered ceiling. They met the challenges of correcting a somewhat” unlevel” ceiling issue that arose during construction and were able to give us a finished product that we absolutely love. They also kept the work area clean during the project. I’d recommend them to anyone needing a finish carpentry job.

We recently had Jake from Hard Knock Carpentry build custom storage cabinets and a built-in dog crate unit in our mudroom. He was so responsive, friendly, and trustworthy off the bat. At the initial in-home estimate appointment he helped talk us through what exactly we wanted and what would realistically work in our space. Jake communicated thoroughly, gave us continual updates/progress photos, and delivered a product that truly exceeded all our expectations. We (and our 2 small dogs) are so happy with the end result! I will certainly be recommending Hard Knock Carpentry to friends, family, and anyone around Indy looking for carpentry services!

Josh and his team installed kitchen, bath and pantry cabinets in our camp in northern MN – far from Indiana but they were great. Very focused and organized. We talked with Josh a lot and we selected one cabinet manufacturer for the kitchen and another for the bathrooms…..great advice that helped us get great cabinets within our budget.
