Took my wife here for her birthday and I’ve never ridden a horse before. It was so much fun and my horse Mo was really cute. The trail guide Cece was amazing and obviously a great trainer. My wife has been on tons of trail rides and says this has been her favorite experience. Thanks so much!

What an amazing farm. The horses are beautiful. The goats are funny. The pigs were singing to us. The two ducks were very friendly. I named this cat, “Ol Nasty Tom”. He slept under my coat. Oared a canoe in a pond. Saw a flock of crane flying over head, heading south. Two hanging skeletons gave me a fright, thought I was a goner for sure. A big sheep w dew on it. One of our daughters has been taking weekly lessons here for over a year and she loves it! She even had a birthday party here and all of her friends had a great time as well. The owners are friendly and this place stays busy with trail rides and lessons.

This was me and my daughter first time horse back riding. My daughter is nonverbal and the instructor did a great job reassuring her and making sure that she’s okay throughout the trail ride I really appreciated it.

Our family had such a fantastic reunion here!! Great space for lots of cousins to play and spend time together. We enjoyed swimming in the lake, grilling out on the balcony, volleyball, visiting the animals everyday, and hiking. There’s enough space for everyone to have a place to sleep and the kitchen and dining area is big enough for 22 people to comfortably enjoy cooking and eating together. Hosts were friendly and welcoming and we had a fabulous week here at the cabin and cottage!

This hidden gem in Brownsburg offers trail riding for all ages, and horseback riding camp for kids. The instructors do a phenomenal job of teaching the kids how to take care of a horse, clean its stall and ride a horse properly. My son has been enjoying this camp experience immensely. While there you should check out the animal farm (cats, ducks, chickens, roosters, goats and pigs). Some of them roam freely throughout the day. Even there are horses to view and admire on the grounds. If you love horses and horseback riding then look no further than Natural Valley Ranch.

Had horses, ponies, chickens, ducks, pigs, rabbits, goats, and sheep. The 3 year olds were allowed to pet everything and even got to meet 2 horses up close. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were allowed to get in the pin with the goats, which they loved.

Had an absolutely fantastic time. The staff was very pleasant and our guide was fabulous. Both kids were placed on very easy to handle horses, which I appreciated. I ironically it was given a more stubborn one but he was also young and newer.

Today, my daughter and I went for our first horse ride through the most beautiful trail. Ive never even sat on a horse and I wasn’t even sure that I could get on one. But I did….ONLY because of our awesome guide, Robert! I wish I could remember the other amazing employees name….she made me feel so comfortable and less self conscious. My daughter had a great time. I had a great time. We will definitely be back. They also offer really cool pony rides for the Lil ones. Today was great

Best date ever with my sweetheart. You need to come here and ride a horse! You can do a half an hour or you can do a full our trail ride. You don’t need much experience. And the wonderful guides will help you on to your horse.

My wife & I brought my nieces & nephews here. We were a party of 7( ages 12-60) that have never been horseback riding. Beautiful scenic trail, thoughtful staff, and really felt the price was reasonable for the memories we created. We will be back.

Robert was so cool! He really knew his horse, and their bond was adorable! My friends and I went 3 or 4 times right before they left for the season, and had a blast every time! The horses are all so sweet, and HUGE! I love how many draft crosses they have! We will be back many times this season!!

Awesome experience, highly recommend you visit. Kids and adults alike will fully enjoy the petting area along with riding the horses. The owners are wonderful! There’s even a mechanical bull and future attractions in the works for the family to enjoy!

We had an amazing time at Broganville Farms today! Tatiana, Khadijah, Kadeem, and Mr. Yap Yap made my daughters birthday very memorable. We were able to interact with ALL the animals and she did some horse back riding as well, we will definitely be going back soon! We recently booked a brunch at Broganville’s Farm for our family reunion, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and at home. They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure the kids (and adults!) got the most out of the day.

One of the highlights was how interactive everything was. Everyone had the chance to feed, hold, and even ride some of the animals. It was educational, engaging, and so much fun!

You could tell the animals are well cared for, and the staff really encouraged learning through hands-on experiences. It was the perfect blend of entertainment and education, and a great way for our family to bond.

If you’re looking for a unique, family-friendly outing or event space, Broganville’s Farm is a must visit.

I can’t say enough great things about Broganville’s Farm! I drove over 3 hours from Illinois, and it was 100% worth it. Kadeem gave me a warm, informative tour and delivered top-notch customer service. His passion and knowledge of farming really stood out.

We used Broganville Farm for a birthday party at our house and it was the absolute best! The animals and staff were amazing and all the kids loved it. Tatiana is wonderful and excellent with the animals and kids. It was a smooth process to book and have them here. The llama stole the show for best of the party! Highly recommend booking with them.

Tammy and her staff were incredible! We had a pony and horse for our daughter’s birthday, and they even came dressed for the occasion! The kiddos all had a blast! And all the staff were so friendly, upbeat, patient and helpful! A truly wonderful experience!

I had my granddaughters birthday party here last weekend and it was a BIG SUCCESS! This place is so beautiful and the staff was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. I would HIGHLY recommend having an even here a I will be bringing my granddaughter back for more pony rides and to have a private lesson about the animals.

Today I took my granddaughters to City Ranch for a visit to see all the animals. They were so excited to see all the different kind of animals that were there. They were beyond thrilled. Thank you to the owner Tammy Ray for the wonderful experience they had. Recommended to everyone!!!

City Ranch made my daughter’s unicorn-themed 4th birthday party so magical! They brought ponies (dressed as unicorns) and a petting zoo. My daughter and her friends absolutely loved it! They arrived early, cleaned up everything, and were very professional. They were also very friendly and patient with everyone. They kept saying happy birthday to my daughter and made her feel so special. They even squeezed us in to their schedule and made room for us last minute! Tammy was kind and communicated with me well. I HIGHLY recommend City Ranch!

I love my friends farm and barn

Our daughter has a horse she stables here and has for over 4+ years. The barn has a beautiful well maintained arena, friendly free roaming working barn cats.. that love attention and it has friendly staff, lessons and bonding time/parties for those who stable with them.

This is an awsome place for riding lessons, and a real friendly staff and trainers, I recommend this place to everyone.

My niece did horse camp here and had a blast! There are several animals here and the stables are clean and well kept. Staff is friendly and take the time to interact with each child. Highly recommended for kids who love animals!!

My son loved his first horseback riding lesson at Hilltop. His teacher, Alisha, took her time to show him how to care for Miss Pearl, and then how to properly ride her. My son enjoyed his lesson do much that he cannot wait for his next lesson.

Love this barn I’ve been riding for about over a year and a half and have loved all the horses I’ve ridden. All their horses are very well taken care of and as well as their dogs. The prices are very good as most barns are close to $100 for a lesson fee. I love how much Sandy and the other girls watch over you and make sure you are getting the right experience and are jumping higher and cantering all at perfect times. They have horses that would fit anyone. If you’ve never ridden before that’s fine they have a couple horses you could ride. If you’re more intermediate they have perfect horses for you and if you’re more advanced they also have perfect horses for you. Canterbury is an awesome barn, I recommend it!

Rode here as a child, then returned as an adult. The horses are cared for, and the lessons are very well priced. I would recommend Sandy to anyone.

Canterbury Manor Stables is a great place to ride for any level of riding. The animals there are well cared for and well treated. Ive been riding there for 6 years and have never had a problem.
I definitely recommend This stable if you are looking for a place to ride.

I’am not the one to judge you the quality of the lesson. I can only tell you my granddaughter and her excitement when her show was over.She,is going to make this her life work.Looking forward to spend the day washing down every horse.Not discussing a goal in life or future work or occupation. Looking at the physical plant its a mess same as most stables. Kid’s are running in ever directions dogs are barking and parents more confused than ever
But when its over the children are beaming and thats the happy part

I called inquiring about riding lessons for my girls and then texted, after receiving a text to do so instead, and have called leaving numerous messages, unfortunately I have never heard back from this stable. Maybe they no longer exist?

I’ve been here for years for my horseback riding and the staff are amazing and help you with whatever you need. And, if you forget rewards, they have them in their shop right next to the stables. Truely a great stable for your horses!

I used to provide restroom services for this wonderful company – during my time they were always respectful and there clients and animals were always enjoying themselves and well treated – Wonderful people and top notch stables. Look no further for a better stable and services

Used to be a Great place for horse lessons, but not now. I have 2 daughters that had been riding at Just Us Stables for going on 3 years. We don’t own or lease a horse and are not in 4H, just recreational riders. We have ridden April through November since 2016 weekly and only when its warmer than 40 the other months . The new trainer Logan started in November 2018 at the beginning of our only when it’s warmer time frame. A few weeks ago she sent me a text saying if my girls didn’t ride consistently then she was giving their time away she was wait listed for beginners. 1 daughter said she would, the other didn’t want to in the cold. I responded with this within 10 minutes. I also told her that the previous trainer was about to move them to other horses before she started but was going to let her do that and that we were flexible if she needed us to move we might be able to. She said 7:30 PM they could both ride. I said 7:30 PM does not work for us that would put us home at 9pm. The one would stay at 5:30pm.
The next week she texts asking if we are coming at 7:30pm, to which I said I told you 7:30 does not work for us. We would be there at 5:30 with 1 riding. She had already given her spot away.
after several texts I called her unprofessional for giving away the spot when the child committed to ride in the cold every week within 10 minutes of her ultimatum. My older daughter is the animal lover and this has devastated her. The owners of the stable are great people. The new trainer Logan is very unprofessional.

Seemed abandoned. Tried to walk into the office, but only got through the first door. The shades were drawn and the lights were out. The only piece of information they had posted was “keep door close at all times”. Doesn’t seem like a place for a horse trail ride.

Great little stable in the middle of the city! Stables are clean and we love to walk over and pet the horses. We also love their barn party every Halloween!

We love this place. My husband and I have been taking lessons and the owners are so fantastic and attentive with us. They let us walk around the stables and see all of the horses on our own – which we really enjoy. They have a horse for all levels of riding. Most of all, you can tell they really love their animals and take really good care of them. That’s very important to us. A+++

Brought granddaughter here for her first ever horseback experience. They were extremely nice and helpful and she throughly enjoyed herself. We went back for the second lesson and her brother and cousin joined her. We will all definitely be back to Star Stables!

We tried 2 other places for our daughter, but they weren’t attentive or very helpful. The main teacher here really helps our daughter and is a good instructor. You can’t beat the price either; it’s only $25 an hour.

I havent been able to see my horse for quite some time. Everytime i do go out to see him he seems happy and is either turned out to pasture or in a clean stall with a full water bucket. It’s a relief to find a place i know my horse is safe and happy at.

I’ve emailed, called twice, and text the owner of this stable about riding lessons. They haven’t responded to any of my requests for more information. I guess I could just show up but it seems like they don’t really want business.

Bought a Groupon for my daughters birthday on April 8th. I have called, left messages and emailed once a week for the past six weeks with NO response. Groupon attempted to also contact them with no response. Beware.

I’ve been riding here for 1.5 years, and it’s the one thing I look forward to every week. I absolutely love the friends I’ve made there, and Michelle is a wonderful person. If you ride here, say hi to the beautiful bay mare in the front pasture! Her name is Ziva!

Took my 14 year old daughter here for her first lesson, and I was more than impressed. The staff was incredible! My daughter had zero horse experience and Jasmine was patient and engaged every second that they were together. I was welcomed to stroll about the facility and hang out with the free range donkey. The lesson didn’t feel rushed, she’s now signed up to go weekly.

I rode here for about 8 months or so in 2018. I went through 3 different riding instructors, a couple who were not qualified. The first few months, the lessons were spent learning to tack the horse and with absolutely minimum riding time. It was frustrating. Then, moved to cantering in a small barn which an inexperienced rider is cantering at a tilt. Add in a jump, and the rider is bound to fall. Not the most safe learning environment. Owner is not the most friendly, if I needed to cancel a lesson she would send snippy texts and make me uncomfortable. Now I ride at a clean and professional facility. And no…. I am not thinking of Southport Ranch.

We signed Seth up for his first lesson. The staff took their time with him…step by step until he became comfortable. I recommend Southport Equestrian Center, especially for parents looking to introduce their kids to the joys of horseback riding.

Simply called to inquire about helping out at the center with chores and was met with an unkind attitude and lack of respect.
1. Don’t pick up the phone when busy and you can’t give that person your focus.
2. Even if it’s something you don’t do as a stable, or you have concerns; remain polite and kind.
I expected more from what seems to be a very nice stable.

In reply- I understand those things; however that does not change how you spoke to me. And your tone was not polite ma’am. Consider speaking more politely to EVERYONE and ANYONE in the future.

The people who work here have been so helpful! They are good people who are serving the community. The animals are clearly well cared for and have great living conditions.
