Ube horchata machiato was really good. The pecan sticky bun was good but very sweet, if you order it make sure to get coffee with no sugar, because the bun has all the sugar you need. I love their coffee beans, balanced with low acidity, good clean flavor. They are a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Such a great spot for delicious coffee and food!! Love the gluten free and vegan options and the fact that they make their own flavored syrups. Added bonus that they roast their own coffee beans. I will definitely be a returning customer!

Go for the coffee, NOT the food! The sandwiches come with thick carved cold meat, making it difficult and unpleasant to eat. Typically not the ideal cut of meat for a sandwich. Usually, you can rely on a Club sandwich, but not at this place. Java was mid at best. Two sandwiches and two 10oz lattes = $45+ a tip.

Very cute shop, relaxed and cozy atmosphere! I got a coffee to go, a triple b caramel latte with oat milk. So delicious, I really enjoyed it. I’ll be back to try to gluten free coffee cake

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the line was out the door. But after getting donuts (and cookies and brownies) we realized why. Delicious. Hard to pick one – I had the peanut butter and jelly donut. Awesome stuff

Cash only. Be prepared

These place had absolutely DELICIOUS donuts! Always looking for old-school family run bakeries and this one hit the spot! The cinnamon sugar cake donut was my favorite. It was moist and fresh and had the perfect flavor of cinnamon and sugary sweetness! The lady who took my order was also very nice and the prices were great too! This is exactly what you would expect from a classic bakery. If you’re in the area, this is a must stop! Sooo good!

We came here because this was listed as one of the top eats in Indy. I found the donuts to be good. They weren’t anything unique in my opinion but I would eat them again if given the option. The original glazed was my favorite. Make sure you have cash on you when you come.

This local favorite has been around since the 50s, and for good reason. It’s cash only & the line is almost always long, but good things are worth the wait. $15 for artisan donuts…wow!

This is a must have if you’re visiting Indiana. The longest running steak house in the state. They also have the largest wine selection in the state. The building is historic. They have been there since 1902. Try the only appetizer they have the tiger shrimp cocktail. The steaks are amazing with great flavor and attention to detail. The bean soup is fantastic. The menu is simple. There is nothing bad on it. There is a reason they have been in business so long. Down town Indy has a landmark and it’s St Elmo’s. The atmosphere is upbeat with a great staff to answer all your questions.

Everyone has always told me that you haven’t had a steak until you eat one from St Elmo’s. And there is a lot to be said about that. Although pricey, the steak is top of the line. And they are also known for the best shrimp cocktails. Spicy, but very good and fresh. Also, the navy bean soup was a great surprise! Definitely try this! The location of this restaurant is also great with it being in the heart of downtown Indy. Would I come here again? Yes, but would love for someone else to pick up the tab.

My wife and I are huge Parks and Rec fans. Even our wedding was Parks and Rec theme and I even got to wear my Colts jersey.

So for our 5 year anniversary we wanted to do a weekend in Indy and St Elmo’s was the top of that list.

I called, asked if I could have flowers sent over, day of and they said of course. They were sitting at the table when we sat down.

Everyone that worked there was fantastic and had an upbeat attitude.

Our server was great and took care of us.

Oh the food was excellent too.

You must go at least once.

Very cool place that came highly recommended as the oldest steakhouse in its original place in Indianapolis. Loved the atmosphere and high-end service. Shrimp cocktail definitely tasty; cocktail sauce very spicy with the horseradish and will clear out your sinuses! Server was very engaging and helpful. Salad was outstanding. Double chocolate mousse pie out of this world. The only disappointment was the steak was not prepared to request and had to be sent back. Maybe we should give more grace, but we expect that a famous steak restaurant would get the steak right. Everything else met or exceeded the mark.

A very cool vibe here! We made reservations a few weeks out (recommended!), and the ladies at the hostess stand were very friendly when we checked in.
Jason was our server. Very professional, polite, knowledgeable, and also friendly. Extensive wine list! The Lobster Bisque, Tomahawk Steak and Bourbon Butter cake were each a special part of the experience. It’s a bit noisy, but easy to overlook with all the positives. Oh… the Shrimp Cocktail WILL take your breath away!

Good quality food, good service. Once a while it’s a treat when I’m in Indy.

It’s popular. I came for dinner on a Wednesday night. It’s surprisingly busy.

So you should definitely reserve a table if you don’t want to wait. Or worse yet get sent back.

All cuts of meet was tasty. The pork chop was a complete surprise! Yes pork chop. I don’t remember ever had pork chop here. But the skin is so perfectly crispy. It’s divine!

The servers are all so nice and friendly and helpful.

I loved this place. It looks amazing, the waiters were all very friendly and nice. The food was so amazing. I was told it was like a buffet and was an okay restaurant. They were wrong. The food here is so delicious. I even got to have a Picanha steak for the first time. Amazing experience. I loved it.

Absolutely beautiful. The place, the good, the people! Indianapolis is lucky to have this restaurant. You can tell the people are well trained and are great at their jobs. Top to bottom a great place to dine. The food was top-notch, and the dessert was a delectable masterpiece. I drove over 2 hours to get there, and I’ll do it again! Q, our host, was awesome. He was switched to another area while we were there, and his replacement was just as good! I wish I had gotten his name as well.

This was our first time here. The food was good. It would just be nice to have real crab instead of that imitation stuff. I refuse to eat that. Our server was really nice. They gave us the option to remove the fake stuff and we did. The sushi roles were really good. The decor didn’t quite match the name but the place was clean. I would definitely go back.

This restaurant was really nice. We went shortly after they reopened for dinner and were able to be seated quickly (no reservation). Our orders were taken right after we sat down and the food began to come out about 20 minutes after we placed our orders. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food, but the scallop roll wasn’t something I’d get again. The lemonade wasn’t anything special to talk about either.

We stopped by for lunch while charging our car at a nearby station and decided to try this restaurant for Hibachi. Our chef, Sung, though a bit new, was attentive and did his best to provide a great experience. The staff were humble and offered excellent customer service. The food had an authentic taste of Japan, and the Hibachi lunch was delicious!

Started the meal with Rock & Roll Sushi. side of Miso Soup and Seaweed Salad. Ribeye steak and vegetables. A great place to have the food prepared in front of you of you. We had a very entertaining time and the food prepared was well worth the show. If you have not been to a location that prepares the meal this way you should try it.

This was our 1st time coming here for my niece’s birthday celebration. One thing I must say 1st: is that the food was fresh hot and delicious. Nevertheless it started off somewhat rough: due to our cook not being in a good mood. Normally when you come to these establishments you are looking for a good fun time with the COOKS doing TRICKS, making different shapes with the FOOD etc. Our cook was ready to go home: say the less. But after speaking with the supervisor a few things did improve which made the experience a bit better. If you want the best experience make sure you come 2 to 3 hours before closing time. On a bright note: you do get bigger portions versus Benihana’s and actually it did taste better.

Shapiro’s Delicatessen in Indy is a slice of deli heaven with a cafeteria-style setup that lets you eye up the goods as you go. The place is very clean and bustling with people, so be prepared for a 5-10 minute wait – but trust me, it’s worth it.

I grabbed a tray and kicked things off with a slice of chocolate cake that looked too good to pass up. Then came the star of the show: a roasted turkey sandwich on sourdough with Muenster cheese. This thing was HUGE – piled high with tender, juicy turkey that was a cut above anything I can find near home. The side of mac-n-cheese was just okay; a bit forgettable and I’d skip it next time. The chocolate cake? A solid winner – moist, rich, and satisfying.

The only downside here is the price. Spending nearly $30 for a sandwich, a side, a drink, and dessert is a bit of a shock, but the quality of the meat makes it worth the splurge. They really take pride in what they serve.

You can throw a dart at the menu and order it and it will be the best food you ever had at this restaurant!

I researched this place before I visited Indianapolis and the restaurant still exceeded my expectations. I got to stay in Indianapolis for four days and I ate there four days. I pretty much had everything once and they were ALL delicious!

The food is the best I have ever had at a deli. Literally everything is amazing. Also, the bakery is the best I have ever been to. I am now obsessed with all the items and sad that I won’t be able to have it all the time because I don’t live in this state.

The weekend only breakfast is definitely a hidden jewel and anyone who has the opportunity should try it and you will know how amazing your day is going to be because you started with Shapiro’s food!!!

Also, the staff are the best! All of them are super helpful and friendly. I got to know Greg and John and their recommendations are amazing.

I cannot wait to come back again!

I had pretty high expectations for this place that has been around since 1905, and the sourdough bread pretty much fell apart as I was eating my sandwich. They don’t put condiments on your sandwich, you have to do that yourself with packets. The deviled egg was really good, and their desserts. They also have hot food in a cafeteria style presentation. Glad I went, but not awesome.

My wife took me to lunch to this deli since so many people were talking about it on TikTok and it was absolutely delicious. The sandwiches were huge, fresh and tasty. The customer service was outstanding from Frank, Porsha and Alisse. The cake slices were the bomb dot com too, we bought the marble and lemon cakes and both were very good. We will definitely return to this restaurant again and bring some family, friends and coworkers. I highly recommend Shapiro’s Deli you will NOT be disappointed. They also have a cafeteria style section where you can purchase an assortment of food such as spaghetti, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, roasted chicken and more. I give them 10 stars ✨

WOW the Jewish side of me really got a kick out of this place. It was just like eating at my grandma’s house the second you entered the restaurant. The smells, the food options, the everything. Fantastic sandwiches, soups, salads, and other meals to choose from. They also have a bunch of great desserts too. The seating area is great and open and it wasn’t too busy when we went (however we did go at 3pm). I got the half brisket sandwich with chili (it was Cincinnati style since it had spaghetti noodles too). My wife got a tuna sandwich, matzo ball soup, and german chocolate cake and wanted seconds cause it was that dang good. For sure a place you gotta try when visiting Indianapolis. I’m sure glad we did!!

My companion and I walked in and were immediately greeted by the staff. They asked us if we wanted to dine inside the restaurant or outside on the deck, and we chose the deck. The views were immaculate! There was a light breeze and a handful of bees buzzing around, but other than that, we had an amazing time. There were boats docked at the marina and a few sailboats gliding around. The music was playing softly in the background as there was a wedding reception on the lower deck. I ordered a burger, and my friend got the Boatyard Burger with chips. Their sunset punch drink was pretty good as well. The service was top tier, and the food was chefs kiss. Their decorations were Halloween themed and cute. I would love to go back for dinner during the Christmas time. 10/10 would highly recommend.

I had the pleasure to attend a musical at Rick’s Cafe Boatyard this past thursday and I must say that I really enjoyed myself. Everything was decorated so beautifully. I really enjoyed the way the lights were all set up, it was very nice. The music really put me in the holiday mood, The singing was so angelic, very beautifully done. I love how they added the Diana Ross flair. And I was especially proud of Miss Jackie Cooper, she looked very beautiful and her performance was memorable which is a good thing since I wasn’t able to record the actual musical because of my battery. Each of the women were gorgeous and full of smiles and that made a very hectic holiday seem bareable.

My sister and I actually went for our nephews big 40!! It turned out awesome. I believe the food was actually catered from elsewhere and was also very good. As usual the atmosphere was beautiful and the staff was helpful, available and very nice! There was also a 360 stand provided but I didn’t get the name of the company that provided it so I will just humiliate myself by sharing the video my sister insisted we make…I’ve been to Rick’s a few times and it’s a pleasure every time, I love the scenic view over the water.

This restaurant provided a very enjoyable dining experience. The food was excellent and the service was very good. The water front location had excellent views of the sunset. The prices were also very reasonable. I would dine here again and would recommend Rick’s to family and friends!

Atmosphere came with a price on this location. It was a beautiful blessing to find this treasure right in Indianapolis area. You really felt like you were on vacation. Wonderful views, we requested outside and it was absolutely beautiful to sit and enjoy the sunset.

The food… I really can’t speak much to this as I was not able to eat what I ordered. Specified no spicy whatsoever and I was served a dish that had so much hot pepper on it of some sort that I lost my taste for the remainder of the time. Another with us ordered the burger medium done and it was served well done. Though one of our meals was comped… Nothing was offered at the time when we had it available before we had to take it two hour drive home. Therefore, I left hungry.

Disappointed to say the least as I had the beautiful blessing of meeting up with my wonderful friend from Colorado. Which I’ll mention his salmon was also overcooked.

I’m not at all trying to complain I would love to bring the awareness up that when you have a location like this it is highly recommended to have a quality chef in the kitchen or checks and balances in place to help sustain the crowd that it’s going to attract.

In the events I am ever in the area and decide to go back it will only to be appetizers and maybe an easy drink to ask to be made.

Amanda is an amazing server! Knowledgeable about the menu, both food and drink. She was so welcoming and friendly. Liv, a manager, went above and beyond. I spilled Marinara on a linen shirt and she went out of her way to bring me a Tide Stick. Between the two, I can’t imagine better service. The two ladies made a great lunch surpass all expectations!

The food was fantastic. The Oyster were plump, and just enough brine flavor. Amanda brought us extra horseradish on request.

I had a crab cake sandwich on a lettuce bed. WONDERFUL! The grilled asparagus was top notch.

I cannot wait to come back!

Had some good Mexican food. The portion size was good and the tacos tasted good as well. Since it was my birthday they did even come there and sang a song with a small piece of cake.

We stopped by La Parada in Indianapolis for lunch, and from the outside, I’ll admit it looked a little… let’s say “quiet.” There wasn’t a soul in sight, and we were starting to wonder if we had made the right choice. But stepping inside, it felt like we were transported into a cozy, vibrant Mexican spot with the typical charm you’d expect.

On the server’s recommendation, I ordered a Michelada. Let’s just say, it was spicy and packed a punch ! For the main course, we got chicken fajitas and veggie fajitas. The sizzle alone made it worth it, and the flavors did not disappoint. And, of course, we couldn’t resist ordering flan for dessert. Sweet, creamy, and the perfect way to finish off the meal. Service was also prompt and warm. All in all, despite the initial “is this place open?” vibe from the outside, it ended up being a delicious and memorable meal. Definitely a hidden gem if you’re ever in Indy!

My coworkers have been talking about how good this place is so I had to try them. I was very pleased with the atmosphere of the place, the food was absolutely delicious and the customer service was amazing. I will definitely return again to try some more things on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant for some real Mexican food. I have been looking for a good torta and I finally found a place that has them.

Food was good and service was good as well. Took my grandson today and he ordered one of the Jarritos Sodas and 2 chicken enchiladas with double rice. He was extremely satisfied with his meal. Saying he could tell the chicken was fresh. With queso cheese and chips. I ordered the combo meal of 2 beef tacos and 1 chicken quesadilla with beans and rice. Mine was delicious. Would definitely visit again and recommend. Have handicap seating inside and outside. Plus easy parking. Prices very reasonable.

Crumbl is having its moment on social media and I think it’s cool how there’s new flavors every week.

My cousins and I came by for dessert after dinner right before closing on a weekday. Our flavors: oreo cheesecake, chocolate chip, strawberry, and fruit tart.

We got a 4 cookie box. I thought it was pricey until I saw the size of the cookies—they’re huge! It’s like $5 dollars per cookie after tax and tip. We don’t have sweet tooth’s so we each shared a bite. I recommend having this with milk to wash down the sugar. The idea of a 800-1000 calorie cookie scares me but I would have a hard time finishing just one, let alone a whole box on my own.

The strawberry cookie had a sweet strawberry icing that tasted like real strawberries! Didn’t taste artificial; not tart and had added sweetness from the sugar but this was the highlight for me. The cookie was a sugar cookie base.

The red white and blue (?): Another sugar cookie base, this was a pretty cookie but quite sweet. Nothing to write home about.

The chocolate chips in the cookie were caramel-colored and a bit big so it doesn’t look like a traditional chocolate chip cookie. It was my favorite out of the four. The chips are too sweet for me so I like the dough more.

The oreo cheesecake looked the heaviest so we saved it for last, but surprisingly it was the least sweet! The cheese flavor balances the sugar out. There’s a nice crust on the bottom too.

Honestly didn’t feel that great after eating this for dessert but it was a novel experience getting to see all the flavors and pretty cookies.

This was my first visit to Crumble, so we weren’t familiar with the store or even how to order. We were not greeted when we came in and had to ask questions. We stood there for a while as people milled around; no one acknowledged us or asked if they could help us. Though, I think it’s based on their assumption that everyone knows what to do when they walk in. We had to say excuse me and ask questions before anyone acknowledged us. The young man who helped us was very knowledgeable and helpful. He placed the order for us, and I paid. We bought the giant chocolate chip cookies and had them boxed separately.

The cookie was delicious on a scale of 1 to 10. I would give it a solid 7.2, not the very best, but also above average. It was soft but not too soft; it had a good cookie ratio to chocolate chips. I think I would have enjoyed the cookie a bit more if it were a bit crispier but not crunchy if that makes sense. Is the cookie worth 5$ a cookie ? Humm probably considering how expensive ingredients are these days, so for the price point, it’s worth it. Is it as good as Nothing Bundt cakes? While it’s like comparing apples to oranges, it is a niche pastry business, and so on that level, yes.

I really can not believe this gross cookies are as big as they are. My elder child loves them, so it is what it is. The employees are always nice and efficient, tho.
