Great selection of new and used vinyl and CDs. Also vinyl covers and turntables. Awesome display with vinyl purchases available at the Indiana State Fair.

Amazing experience at an incredible place! First time visiting while traveling and, in five minutes, knew this shop was special. Unique music taste and appreciation merged and owner Andy gifted a hand-written note from a legend. Just the coolest… thanks, Andy! Hope to be back soon!

Indy CD and Vinyl at IN State Fair 2025. Although a sampling of their full retail store stock, has to be the most comprehensive and popular artist selection I’ve seen in decades, including shops near larger metro area such as Atlanta, GA. Many represses in new wrappers. I definitely need to visit their Broad Ripple shop which they said is in close proximity to one of my old vinyl haunts, Praches Records, fortunately they say located there will knowledge of that store’s owner in the day! I would like to say they sponsored and/or owned the Fair vinyl exhibit memorabilia which was exhilarating and refreshing. The highlight aside from the fair concert that night!

I can't recommend Indy CD & Vinyl enough. My kiddo and I were visiting the area, and they were so helpful and awesome. They went above and beyond to answer every single question we had, came up to us and offered help, looked stuff up for us, went in the back and found a sticker and a pin for my kid (because they felt bad they didn't have a particular CD he was looking for), and more. Just truly awesome and friendly. They also offered to ship anything to us that they didn't have in stock. There was a nice collection of K-Pop albums they were starting too. They even informed us of a new vinyl shop that opened up where we lived (we didn't even know about it), and then proceeded to look up the name and address for us without even being asked. The atmosphere was great, and you could tell everyone there was knowledgeable and enjoyed what they do. Please stop by and visit them if you're ever in the area! We'll definitely be back.

What an awesome shop. Best in Indy. Great owners and they really care about the local music scene. Whenever I wear my Indy CD and Vinyl t-shirt people comment how cool it is. Someone even said that they’ve bought a bunch of records from their Discogs. Amazing record selection and it is always stocked with cool stuff.

Vaughn was great to work with! He bought about half the albums I presented, and he put me in contact with someone who was interested in some vintage stereo equipment. What a great store!

Long time patron. It’s always well organized. I always manage to find exactly what I want. Several years ago I went to a release party with my (then) almost teenager and they gave us a signed poster and were so kind and attentive to them. And now they love to skateboard there. A local business who *truly* cares about the community and their patrons…doesn’t get better than that. Thanks, Annie and all!
