We heard about this place through someone who competes in tournaments here, and compared to other similar spots, this place is a real gem. It’s clean, spacious, and packed with well-loved games that feel curated, not random. and the pinball machines are in top condition! We got a chance to chat briefly with the owner, and you can immediately tell he genuinely cares about the space and the experience, which really sets this place apart. We had a great time overall, and some of the games gave us that nostalgic, walking-down-memory-lane feeling. Definitely worth checking out. One drink for unlimited games? Say less lol
The beer is excellent. The vibes are amazing. Food can be brought in from other locations or you can order from a restaurant that has a fantastic selection to pass through the window. The games are all in top condition and it’s a great place to hang and grab some drinks and some classic games with some friends.
What a wonderful facility! I have a confession to make- as someone who doesn’t drink alcohol and avoids sugar whenever possible, I do not adhere to the house rule of buying a drink when patronizing this venue. However, I only play the pinball machines, which are pay to play. If you set everything to free play and charged a $25 cover, I’d gladly pay that
Great experience! I've never been to a place like this before. It was nice to get a drink (cheaply priced too!) and play as many games as we wanted. We each purchased 1 drink a piece and played an hour worth of arcade games! It was awesome, well worth the stop on our trip.
Tappers was nostalgia in a bottle. So many classic arcade games that instantly brought me back to my childhood. Games are free to play with a beverage purchase. Beverages have fun names related to various video games and pulp culture references. The layout of the facility is easy to navigate as the games are spaced out in a ring around the bar with custom wooden tables for your drinks between each machine. Impressive pulp culture references are airbrush painted on the walls. A killer lineup of new pinball machines in the backroom are waiting for you. While not included in the free play, they are a blast too with many different movie/show references. Plenty of seating if you get tired crushing it on Contra or Street Fighter II. There is a handicap accessible ramp to the pinball area and bathrooms were very nice. I suggest coming here after you have a meal elsewhere as they don't really have a full food menu and I'm guessing that if to keep the arcade machines from getting gross. Lastly upfront near the entrance, they have console based games including Super Nintendo N64. They even have some of the classic table top games like you would have seen in Pizza Hut from the 70s/80s. A great find here in Indy!
Free arcade games with a drink purchase and cabinets are well maintained. They even have all thr Nintendo systems including a switch 2. They dont serve food, but do have chips and allow you to bring in your own food. How can you not love it.
Had a lady come up to us and rudely let us know you have to purchase a beverage to play pinball which was already a dollar a game. Wouldn't have had a problem with this except for the lady was so extremely cold and rude. Also the male bartender gave judgemental vibes. I wasn't dressed up just regular clothes but for some reason I just didnt like the atmosphere at all. Did not tip and wouldn't recommend although the one high point of the day is that the pinball machines were very well maintained. Other than that the atmosphere was a dud and I wouldn't recommend
