This was our first time here. The food was good. It would just be nice to have real crab instead of that imitation stuff. I refuse to eat that. Our server was really nice. They gave us the option to remove the fake stuff and we did. The sushi roles were really good. The decor didn’t quite match the name but the place was clean. I would definitely go back.

This restaurant was really nice. We went shortly after they reopened for dinner and were able to be seated quickly (no reservation). Our orders were taken right after we sat down and the food began to come out about 20 minutes after we placed our orders. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food, but the scallop roll wasn’t something I’d get again. The lemonade wasn’t anything special to talk about either.

We stopped by for lunch while charging our car at a nearby station and decided to try this restaurant for Hibachi. Our chef, Sung, though a bit new, was attentive and did his best to provide a great experience. The staff were humble and offered excellent customer service. The food had an authentic taste of Japan, and the Hibachi lunch was delicious!

Started the meal with Rock & Roll Sushi. side of Miso Soup and Seaweed Salad. Ribeye steak and vegetables. A great place to have the food prepared in front of you of you. We had a very entertaining time and the food prepared was well worth the show. If you have not been to a location that prepares the meal this way you should try it.

This was our 1st time coming here for my niece’s birthday celebration. One thing I must say 1st: is that the food was fresh hot and delicious. Nevertheless it started off somewhat rough: due to our cook not being in a good mood. Normally when you come to these establishments you are looking for a good fun time with the COOKS doing TRICKS, making different shapes with the FOOD etc. Our cook was ready to go home: say the less. But after speaking with the supervisor a few things did improve which made the experience a bit better. If you want the best experience make sure you come 2 to 3 hours before closing time. On a bright note: you do get bigger portions versus Benihana’s and actually it did taste better.

Great service. Anthony and Chef Ernesto were very good – great service and delish food.
Note: your experience depends on your server and Chef. Definitely I recommend these 2 duo when you go here.

We just finished up eating here and they absolutely DID NOT disappoint! Our server Mona was timely and efficient, their strawberry lemonade is absolute fire and one of the best lemonades I’ve ever had! Our chef Ernesto did an absolutely fantastic job with our food. The proportions were accurate and the food itself is immaculate. And to top it off, my mother got a special birthday cake which she said was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this place 🙂

Had surprise dinner with family for my birthday. I had to get the Hot Sake, it’s a tradition!! Ordered the Hibachi Filet Mignon and Chicken. The steak was very tender and full of flavor. Unfortunately due to staffing issues, they were not able to sing their usual “Birthday Song “. Overall it was good.

Food and service was amazing. We were able to walk in for an early dinner service.

Restrooms were disgusting upon arrival. We mentioned to front end staff that they needed some attention. By the end of our dinner service the restaurant was full. We took the kids to the restroom once more and they were significantly worse. 1/3 stalls were actually usable. Told the staff again. For a nice location and price of the meal I would expect the restrooms to be checked regularly. And for them to be that disgusting at 5pm before the rush even was just ridiculous.

Will go back again as the food and service was amazing. Our chef was incredible with the kids. Would have been a 5/5 if it weren’t for the restrooms

My wife and I had lunch today and the food was phenomenal. For over the past year we have requested Brian as our chef. His food is always great! Very consistent in what he does! Not too often you find this! If you haven’t already, I strongly recommend for anyone reading this to give him a try! You will not be let down!

I used to frequent this place often, but unfortunately, I moved out of state. When visiting Indy, I try to come back to the Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet since I have a lot of good memories here.

The restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat experience with 6-9 buffets, including Sushi & Hibachi sections. The soup selection includes Hot & Sour, Egg Drop Soup, and, for my first time at this location even seafood soup. The variety of options is impressive, ranging from kids’ food (including ice cream) to American and Chinese dishes. I recommend trying unique items like seaweed, Wasabi (Japanese horseradish; a little goes a long way), a variety of Sushi, and if you’re unsure, don’t hesitate to ask the staff for information. I’ve found the taste to be satisfying about 85-90% of the time. Over the course of approximately a decade of dining here, I’ve only been disappointed two or three times.

The cheerful staff has always been friendly and attentive, quickly clearing finished plates. They are proactive in anticipating and meeting any additional requests you might have.

We had gone her for many years and enjoyed going. Went on the 12 around 430/5pm. It was terrible. They took eggs off the habici part to add in when they cook the food for you. Then my 2nd plate I got chicken on a stick, and it was cold all the way through, not even recommended temp cold. Felt like it had come out if the fridge. The ham was decent but hard to ruin ham. The white rice was older and sort of crusty. My uncle had some of the turkey and said it was cold. He did mention to the gentleman up front and was told you have to dig for the warm food. My kid had fries and lo mein noodles and both of those were cold. The sugar biscuits were pretty old and dry. The desserts were not even good. The square little fancy cakes were super dry and crumbly. The mousse type dessert the top was firm but under was still good.

We had been pretty regular customers for the last 8 years. Not now. We will not be going back. The soda was fine.

Big mistake ever eating here. We decided to try it as it is right next to the gym we were working out at. Worst Chinese buffet I’ve ever been to. Rice was hard, vegetable lo mein was dry, everything looked disgusting. Even the hot water for the tea tasted off. Ate there for dinner and woke up at 2:00 am vomiting. Still having digestive issues and this was nearly a month ago.

The only positive about this place was that the server was very nice. Bathrooms were gross and the meal was overpriced. The health department needs to perform an updated inspection.

This place is such a hit and miss. When it’s good (usually bat lunch) it’s delicious but when it’s bad it’s AWFUL! Today it was awful and I came during dinner so I paid more for old food. They’re closed on Tues and I’m pretty sure the food is from Monday it’s so old.

Absolutely enjoyed everything about 45 degrees. It was our first time there and everything was delightful. The sushi was very good and fresh. We absolutely loved the playboy roll being lit on fire. The Jelly sake in the photo was the first time I’ve had it and it was super sweet just like a jello shot. Our waitress was very sweet and knowledgeable. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Indianapolis.

Our entire experience was great from start to finish. Mark was absolutely amazing and the hostesses were so warm and welcoming and all so pretty. We had kids with us and while they don’t have a kids menu there was plenty for our kids to pick and chose from. Granted our kids love sushi and our youngest is 2 so it was perfect for our situation.

I was pleasantly surprised at how empty this was when I came in because I’ve seen lots of reviews about this place (so I figured it would’ve been very busy). The service was great, our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing and authentic, seafood was fresh, and very nicely presented. I particularly liked the spicy salmon roll, the Mass Ave specialty roll, and the crab rangoon. The area was clean and comfortable. The price was only around $100 for 4 people, which was shocking considering the amount of food we had. Would definitely recommend!

Tom was our Chef, he was Amazing! We were there to celebrate our grand daughters birthday ! I’m not sure the name of our server, but by far the worse service, we’ve ever had here. We frequent this establishment usually 6 times a year if not more. Our drinks sat empty, we had to ask another server for our server since we hadn’t seen her since the Chef came to our table. We were told she was getting our check and boxes, she never checked back on us and she had no other tables. She brought our boxes, finally got our refills after sitting empty for about 10 minutes or more. They did sing Happy Birthday, but by then our experience was less than expected from our previous visits. However, Tom was Absolutely Amazing! Definitely not sure if we’ll be back anytime soon.

The first time we went, it was decent! People spoke, and the food was good. So you can imagine my surprise when our second visit was so distasteful. Our “chef” was an older, gentleman who kept giving evil gazes to the customers at the next table over. Rude. He was so worried about them that he left the vegetables to cook on that grill the ENTIRE time. They were terribly greasy and overcooked. The real issue was being the only people of color at the table and the chef purposely serving my son and I last! We sat in the center of the table so there was no excuse! He skipped over us completely with the rice and then came back to give us the little that was left! Everyone at the table (aside from my son and I) ordered steak. He cooked all steaks first before addressing the chicken that sat piled up in the corner, collecting grease! After FINALLY finishing cooking the chicken, he again gives my son and I a small portion and divides the rest of OUR ordered chicken to the rest of the table!!! Never in my life have I witnessed such pure racism at a restaurant. We walked out without eating. Shameful! I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

The layout and vibe as soon I walked into the place was great. We were greated immediately and seated. The waitress was very attentive and took care of us immediately. We ordered steak and chicken hibachi lunch on top of Eel Roll and California Rolls. All food was fresh and tasted great. The cook was very nice and entertaining as he prepared the food in front of us. Definitely a great experience and recommend!

We’ve been wanting to get together with a couple of friends for a long time and we finally set a date and made plans. Our friends are the supreme sushi lovers and they love Blue Sushi. My wife and I enjoy sushi, but we’d never been to Blue Sushi, and we are definitely sushi novices compared to our friends.
Blue Sushi definitely lived up to our friends’ praises. We received a friendly greeting upon arrival. The food quality was excellent. My wife and I ordered Crispy Brussel Sprouts for an appetizer, Tofu lettuce wraps, and Crunchy L.A. roll. Our friends ordered a large variety of rolls and let us sample theirs. The portion sizes were good. The service was excellent (Yahir was our server). The atmosphere and cleanliness were perfect. The menu variety was impressive. We had reservations so there was no wait time to be seated. The wait time for our food was fine. We had such a fun night at Blue Sushi! Highly recommended!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our waitress Alix was completely amazing! Not only did she vibe with us and love us as a group, she also helped make the weekend fun after a loss in the family. Not only did she serve us well she actually prayed over us when she saw that we were in prayer. I hope to be back in soon to ask for her.

So much better than the last time I reviewed. We had a great server and the food was excellent. Didn’t love my drink but that could have just been a personal preference thing. Also, beware that the spicy edamame has gotten REALLY spicy. It was too hot for us to finish.

One of my favorite sushi spots in the city. Service is quality, food always hits the spot & it’s reasonably priced. They have some pretty good specials during the week & happy hour is a good way to experience it if you’re on a budget. Spicy charred edamame is a must! I can’t remember the names of the rolls pictured but the drinks were tasty!

This is the best ramen I have found in indy. It’s the second best ramen I have had. Best being in San Francisco. But I am so grateful for thus spot close to home. The flavors are incredible as is the service. The dining area could use some updates .. but the food is on point. I had the black garlic. And it was so good. Full of flavor all the way. The dumplings were fresh and incredible.. come eat here. Make thus place stay in business.. its a gem for the city.

This cozy little ramen place is my favorite in all of Indy, hands down the best ramen I’ve been able to find in this city. Every single thing on the menu is phenomenal and I love the laid back atmosphere inside the restaurant itself. Tonight I got carry-out and unfortunately once I got home, I realized half my order was missing. I called the restaurant and ended up driving back to get the rest of my order. The customer service was ABOVE AND BEYOND what I expected to receive. They truly turned my night all the way around, even though I had to drive back to get the rest. I will be back many times!

My gyoza weren’t cooked right. They were all stuck together. I guess that’s why they were smothered in sauce (that is usually on the side) I don’t appreciate this. The sauce was too much. Could’ve just made another order, they’re $10 for six. Has a burnt taste.

Finally a Japanese exclusive mini grocery store! No not a mixed Asian mainly Chinese or Korean goods but 99% Japanese store. Indiana really needed a place like this especially when a lot of these Japanese goods are only possible to get in Japan or huge cities in the west coast. The name tricked me up until I saw photos and reviews. If you want Japanese goods you need to come here. They play Japanese music (a lot of it from studio ghibli movies) and the staff welcome you in Japanese lol. Their restaurant options are good too.

Even though the food here is very good, I wish they would bring back the ‘Spicy Cajun Shrimp’ roll. It was a large size, $12-14 shrimp roll with Cajun seasoning on top. I also miss some of the old menu items.

I did work here for a short amount of time and it is a very clean and professional organization behind the scenes. Never seen a stock room without dust until here, their workers take extreme pride.

My wife and I do not come through northern Indy without stopping at One World for lunch or dinner. My wife, who’s spent time living in Japan, says she enjoys this place because it the atmosphere and food is authentic. I can’t relate to the nostalgia but I can definitely say that the food is delicious, the staff are incredibly nice, and we’ve found lots of cool little things around the store such as snacks to try and trinkets. My wife often picks up hot pot starters.

I wish I had thought to take a photo of the delicious Katsudon I just had, but I was way too excited to eat it.

Genuinely love this place. Definitely recommend.

They used to have the best ramen in town (even better than the ones I’ve had in Japan!) but now it’s more Americanized than the rest of the ramen shops around. Their Chirashi bowl is still reliable though.

Don’t let the exterior weird you out. Sakura is definitely one of those undercover gems on Indy’s north side. I’ve driven by it a lot but never stopped in. I got to do so recently.

Walked in at around 5:45 on a Friday and they were a little busy but we got a table. Our waitress was SUPER friendly and attentive to our table. We started with the Gyoza and the Spicy Ika Rings (calamari basically) as an appetizer. All of that was fantastic!

As my entree, I got the Chicken Katsu Don. Now, I did notice a lot of reviews complaining of slow service. However, it only took about 25 minutes for all our food to arrive. And overall, the food was fantastic! The chicken was tender and tasty, the eggs were good, though I will say they did put a bit too much rice in the bowl for me to handle.

We then got the Fried Ice Cream as dessert which was also very delicious.

Overall, this was a great experience! If you’re looking for a popular Japanese spot in Indy, Sakura is definitely a winner! I’ll be back.

Great Japanese restaurant that, thankfully, offers more than just sushi (though their sushi is also pretty good). The spicy miso chicken is definitely up there with the best things I’ve ever had there and I highly recommend it (if you like spicy food). There are only a few decent Japanese restaurants in the city and I would put Sakura up there among the best for what it is: simple, no frills, good Japanese food with an emphasis on sushi.

Wait time was very long, around 45 mins for 5 rolls of sushi. Sushi itself was pretty decent. Ingredients were fresh but the rice tasted a bit funny. I must say the one roll with the eel on top was really really good. Servers were great and I’ve got nothing but good things to say about the staff. Minus one star for the wait time compared to the quality of my order.

The fact that anyone could have anything bad to say about this place is insane… it’s almost as if someone said they didn’t like puppies, or the color blue. It is legit the best sushi restaurant in Indianapolis, and as good as anywhere in the US. I’m from NYC, and spent time in LA, and this place is just as good. Literally the reason I am still ok living in Indy- one of my checklists is a great sushi restaurant. The people that work there I think might be the owners? So sweet and caring. Never a bad meal. Always busy. Sushi fresh as can be. Just don’t take my reservation because I’ll be mad if I can’t go there when I want. Love love love Sakura!

One of our favorite Hibachi places on the east side of Indy. We came with friends to enjoy a nice dinner. We had a great chef who was interactive and fun. We had some food allergies and they accommodated it. We’ve had some rolls as well which were yummy.

Lunch is 16$ 3 sushi rolls and a salad or soup. With fast food getting into the teens for a combo meal why not come in here and eat a way better quality meal. Pretty sure there’s a lot less chemicals or processed food in my sushi. This place has a great atmosphere. Low lighting and people are jonesing to get you what ever you want. 10/10 will be here many lunches.

I had the cucumber roll , a California roll , and a small fried rice.
Everything was absolutely delicious!

The few times I’ve gone I normally do the hibachi side however sharing a table with strangers usually gets a little weird.

My last experience was Dec 2023, for my wife’s birthday not sure if because we are an LGBT couple.

But the other people we were set with, just felt the need to stare the entire time and move down in their chair.

so I really don’t like dinning in anymore , I prefer to just do their take out unless I have a large group of just all my people
I love the decor, the dim lighting, upon entrance & the customer service .

I have absolutely no complaints except I ate too much and don’t feel like driving home. Lol

Clear Soup is Chef’s Kiss…so much flavor in such a small bowl.

Tuna Sashimi was delicious (wish they had a spicy dipping sauce).

Rock Shrimp was a great appetizer. That sauce had a hint of sweetness that was delectable.

Ask for Joe. He seasons the hell outta your hibachi meal. My Strip Steak was medium and juicy.

Customer Service was great and prices are reasonable.

I will definitely be back!
