Had a great time today browsing the wide variety of antiques and collectibles here. It’s a fantastic spot if you’re looking for unique decor or a one-of-a-kind gift. The building itself is full of character and old-school charm, which really adds to the experience. Pro-tips for your visit: • Time: There are two floors to explore. If you like to browse at a leisurely pace, plan for about 30–60 minutes. • Parking: The lot can get pretty tight on weekends and the surface is a bit rough, so just be prepared for that when you pull in. Overall, lots of interesting finds and definitely worth a visit!

Midland Arts & Antiques is a HUGE antique mall — definitely plan to spend some time browsing because there is so much to see. The building itself has a really cool industrial vibe, and the variety of booths and vintage pieces was impressive. We kept finding interesting items around every corner. Parking was easy, and the entrance is clearly marked once you know where to go. The layout inside is spacious with wide walkways in most areas. Accessibility note: I personally did not see obvious wheelchair or elevator accommodations during our visit. However, staff were moving large carts between levels, and there is a service-style lift at the storefront that appears to be used for moving items. If accessibility is important for your visit, it may be worth calling ahead to confirm current options. Overall, this is a fun place to explore if you enjoy antiques, vintage décor, and unique finds. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in the Indianapolis area.

Dog friendly to well behaved doggos on a leash. Great Antique mall. Everything under the sun is here and we only explored the main level, they have an upstairs as well. Bought my first piece of uranium glass here. They have antiques from a few dollars (2-5) to several thousand. A true treasure trove. At least Two bathrooms on main level. Treats, Drinking water, and bowls provided for dogs.

I feel somewhat bad for giving this place only 4 stars because, on a personal level, it definitely deserves 5. The merchandise is fascinating and is worth enjoying even if you have no plans to buy anything. I recommend bringing at least one friend, because you will definitely want to remark on your finds with someone else. There are multiple restrooms on opposite sides of the warehouse, and I’ve never met anyone who was disappointed with their experience. I do want to prepare people ahead of time… the prices can be somewhat higher (which is dependent on each stall, since there are multiple sellers), the warehouse is large, and there aren’t really designated places where you can rest your feet (of course, many seats and chairs are being sold, but I hesitate to sit on anything that I haven’t purchased regardless of whether or not there is signage). I don’t have too much trouble wandering through the entire place, but your older parent or younger child may get worn out long before you finish browsing, so keep that in mind! This is one of my favorite places in Indy… please check it out if you get the chance!

i could spend hours in here easily. so many things to look at and such a huge place!! no matter what you’re shopping for or even if you’re just looking around, you’ll have a great time and absolutely get side tracked. it’s great!

Oh my WOW this place was SO COOL!!! Even if you’re not shopping, there’s just SO. MUCH. STUFF. to look at!!! Taxidermy, fainting couches, uranium glass, signed photograph from Gilligan’s island cast, old pharmaceutical bottles, cowhide, you name it! I will say that the facility is not air conditioned, so try to visit on a cooler day, unless you’re wearing lighter clothes! It can get pretty stuffy

Fun thing to do on a Saturday. Building is large with a plethora of stuff between 1st and 2nd floors. We visited in March and was not bad even without air conditioning. Free parking available inside the fenced lot.

The Batchelors

So clean and organized. All displays are welcoming and pleasant, making it so much more enjoyable to find that little treasure you didn’t even know you needed until you found it. We love a good treasure hunt. This is probably the most organized of any other antique shop/ mall we’ve been too. The upstairs vintage clothing was incredible. So unique. If you live and appreciate the items of past generations, are looking for a unique piece to add to your home decor, have a gift to buy for someone that has everything… you simply must give this shop a shot. But make sure you have time because it is so large, you will get lost and have to search to find your way back to front door. (In a good way) 🤭

This place is huge There are all kinds of different booths inside this huge Antique Mall there are several different places to find antiques and collectibles. Since this is made up of different vendors there were several that had boost with 40% off and 50% off while we were there. We picked up a few odds and ends, including this old milking stool from the early 1970s for $20.00. We’ll be back again

This store is huge! There are alot of neat things in there but most of what I was looking for was really overpriced and didn’t reflect the conditon. I found way better deals on fb marketplace.

Deceptively small on the outside, considering what it looks like and where it’s at, I spent a good 3+ hours walking around in what is probably the best flea market I’ve been to. If you’re looking for your go-to place for antiques, glassware, Knick knacks, clothes, plates, beanie babies, man cave items, and everything else you can think of, this is your place. I walked out with a walking stick, golf clubs, model ship, decanter, jewelry box, and watch. 3 hours isn’t enough, you will need to come back at least 2 or 3 more times to get the full experience, and that’s not even counting when they refill the items or switch them out. This place has certainly gained my attention as my new go-to shopping experience in the Greenwood area.

This place is awesome, super organized display cases. Posters everywhere with q r codes if you need assistance, and some of the coolest stuff that goes on and on forever! One can get lost 8n tgis place. If you have driven past it before and have never been you should just go in once just to see it. It is kind of a museum of sorts. Loved it

I have lived on the south side of the city and did not know this place existed. There are so many unique and interesting things here and I found the best items for my grandpa’s birthday. They have so many different items from glasses to furniture to trains, postcards, mugs. Anything you can think of is here.

This store is SO CUTE. Such an surprising mix of treasures. The things that surprised me most were the hats/facinators and also the ethnic apparel- especally Indian (i am not very well familiar so forgive me). So sooo fun to spend hours just looking at each hanger one by one.

This is one of the shops we were most interested in visiting during a recent girls’ trip to Indianapolis, but we walked away empty-handed. The really good: friendly, helpful staff; lots of sizes and options; reasonable prices. The not so good: Over-stuffed racks that make it difficult to browse (typical of most vintage and secondhand shops), predominantly clothing with some accessories. If we were looking for something specific, I think we would have had more luck. But just trying to browse in tight spaces, we weren’t feeling it. Despite that, it is a fantastic shop with a lot to offer and earned this 5-star review. We’d visit again, but with lower expectations.

I went in looking to find items for a play set in 1974. The young woman working was incredibly helpful and nice. She directed me to where I needed to look and shared other things as she found them herself. The selection here is great and prices are fair. I found some amazing pieces!

Only thing we left with were drinks from the restaurant at the front. There’s tons of used clothes, shoes, and furniture. You won’t find antiques or rare items here. We go to many flea markets around Indiana. We check this one out about one a year to see if anything has changed and sadly it never does. Many vendors are selling things for as much as the store it came from. If you want to go to a flea market, I’d pick another one.

Marcie Kelley ☆ 1/5

It was easy to get around. Found many things. However, I see this as $1 each, that is a deal so got 12, guess that they saw it as $2. So be careful with them rining things up. Just frustrated because you can’t see the prices. So for now on, I will ask to see the screen and the line behind me can wait

Found some cool things here( movies, plants, knicknacs and our dream couch for so cheap! Sadly our license plate got stolen while we were shopping and we haven’t been back since. Luckily it was a temporary. It was during the daytime… It’s not the stores fault but the location isn’t the greatest. While I recommend the store but maybe take a Lyft there if you’re not buying huge things.

This place is all resellers that resell items at high prices. They are selling the discount stuff from other stores but pushing up the prices. Even the used items were priced higher than Walmart or Target. This is the worst «flea market» I have ever went to. Don’t waste your time.

Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is without a doubt the best Ethiopian/African restaurant in the area! They offer a wide variety of delicious, fresh meals that are full of authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. Every dish is beautifully prepared, rich in taste, and made with high-quality ingredients. The restaurant also stands out for its excellent customer service. The staff are warm, welcoming, and go out of their way to make sure every guest has a great dining experience. If you’re looking for a place that serves amazing traditional food with exceptional hospitality, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

This overall is a nice place to browse and find some hidden gems. However, it’s kinda dirty and alot of booths are SO messy, disorganized, dirty, overcrowded, you couldn’t browse and buy if you wanted too. These booths have a massive amount of clothing. Alot of the same stuff at every booth. They do have a very large area of appliances, furniture, flooring, toliets, tubs, doors etcccc for good prices. Overall, nicer than some flea markets. However, they need to clean up and hold booth owners accountable for their space as far as cleanliness, organization and not being so overcrowded.

A L ☆ 3/5
Dylan Wilson

It’s a flea market, kind of. I’m not sure what they charge for booth rent, but everybody had their prices jacked up so I’m assuming it’s high. The appliance place on the side is pretty solid. I’ve purchased from them a few times over the years and do not have anything bad to say about them. But the flea market side…. It’s dirty. Maybe run a vacuum once a month or something. Don’t be afraid to disinfect the place yearly either.

At Trader Bucks Peddlers Mall on East Washington street, I am very happy to be a Vendor at booth 820 on East Washington Street. I love the atmosphere there. Don and Management staff are kind and respectful. They show that they care by listening to the concerns of the customers as well as the vendors. On a scale of 1-10. I give the staff a 10, and this is because they make this new location one that vendors are happy to be a part of. I have had the opportunity while being at my booth to meet and talk to many customers, and they seem to be very pleased shopping at Peddlers mall on East Washington Street.

I bought a mystery Pokémon card pack and the lady that helped me was super friendly! I go with my best friend and we have fun playing pool and looking around! I personally love playing the claw machines; I’m pretty good at them. Although my bag got checked after I purchased another item. I didn’t understand why but it’s okay! will be returning for the bomb deals. The guy that sells self defense and cool stuff like that is such a great person as well, he greets me and my buddy every time we pass by his area and is super helpful! Props to the staff!!!

My first review! I’m visiting my grands in Indy and my daugter suggested I stop in and see the new Peddlers Mall location. I will say this, the location is phenomenal and brighter! If I could give 10 stars to Don for his customer service I would. He told me they’re expanding five day booth sections and I’m strongly considering since I’m in early retirement. Can’t wait to see what’s to come for the mall!

Not going to lie my last few visits have not been great. The dark hair manager is usually rude and the other cashier isn’t that great either. Today I was stopped by a new guy with glasses to check my purse. He was polite and explained he was trying to prevent any theft. I appreciate how kind he was. I will definitely be back in to shop since they have new staff.

One of the vendors stalked and harassed me and I feel unsafe going back. A friend introduced me to this flea market and I honestly loved it until now. As soon as I walked into the store, one of the vendors was stocking his booth and immediately walked up to me trying to sell to me. I tried to be polite and let him know I was there for something else entirely, that I was there to try to find model horses or old toy horses to be custom-painted. He insisted on not letting me leave and trying to locate something for me that I did not come in for. Unbeknownst to me, he FOLLOWED ME to the Goodwill next door and waited for me in the toy section, where he approached and tried to put his hands on me. Told me, «There aren’t any horses here, honey. I checked.» I absolutely will not be returning.

This is the 2nd time I have been to the store and the 2nd time I have been overcharged. I did tell the lady at the counter that the booth said it was 75% off, and she said if it is, it will ring up as such. I said that it didn’t last time, so I wanted to be sure. The item was a SunSquad brand chalk holder, booth 1008, regular price $6.50, should have been 75% off. They also overcharged me on a Little People camper from booth 0721, the sticker said $3, but it rang up as $6. I was visiting family, I live 10 hours away. I called to ask them to correct the issue and refund me remotely, they refused, stating I need to come in. They would not even let me scan and email the receipt and take the card over the phone for a refund. Clearly it is not worth the gas or time to do so, so I am out of luck. I recommend checking your receipt at the register before leaving. I am giving two stars because I definitely like the store, they have a good selection. They just need to up their customer service and provide a way to refund their overcharge. I bet if it was the other way around and I called to tell them I was undercharged, they’d find a way to make it work.

I needed a part for my old front door, made in 1921. Hardware, the problem was it was just wore out, it was for old deadbolt. Not only did they have the part, they were very inexpensive and very helpful. The gentleman just did not give up until he repaired my locking mechanism for my door. I do not know what, I would have done, if they did not have, the part for my deadbolt for my locking mechanism.

Went in and was told that the left side was closed that we had to go to the right side. A lot of big products. Some of the prices were too much. However, when we decided to go to the side left to us was not marked that it was a separate section all together and the cashier was rude. Trying to get out attention by yelling at us to tell us that that was a sperate section all together. Need to have signage to let customers know this. Over priced. Not coming back here.

The store is huge with something for everyone. The prices are reasonable. I found a fur coat for $50 if that gives you any idea how awesome this place is. The staff is super friendly as well! One of my favorite thrifts.

male workers need to learn how to not touch people. I made eye contact with an old guy who was walking straight to me. He continued to touch my shoulder to get my attention after making eye contact. Gross. Learn some common social skills, no one wants to be touched my a stranger & there’s never a need to touch someone’s shoulder to get their attention.

One of the male workers cressed my girlfriends arm (Minor btw) and was very rude when told that we had to pay at the other side of the store, no signs implicating this and touching your customers is absolutely disgusting. Wont ever come back again and if you have minors, keep them out of here, they are seriously weird.

I’ve been to many flea markets, and I really liked this one! Many booths with a wide variety of items to choose from, all at fair prices. Friendly and helpful staff, interesting items, and fairly priced – a must go if you’re in the area!

I used to like this place, but anymore it is a waste of time. We found a large item that we were interested in, but the price was not clearly labeled. My husband went to ask about it and was told they would check it out for us. They never did. When we realized they were not going to help us, we headed towards the exit. The woman he had asked was standing at the counter talking to her friends. My husband asked about the item, and she acted like she didn’t know what he was talking about. The quality of service and merchandise has gone down. Don’t waste your time!

So I call this guy to try to sell him a coin collection. He tells me he’s scared to buy it because it’s probably stolen. I have the conversation recorded. This guy is a con artist. Do not go to his shop. Do not deal with him. It’s funny because my dad owned the coin shop. He’s mad that he couldn’t screw me over. That’s why he said this. Everybody can see my name so we all know that the stuff’s not stolen. I wouldn’t waste my time putting a review.

I visited this place yesterday in search of coins but upon entering, there were many interesting things that caught my eye. I was kindly greeted by the man behind the counter and we had a nice conversation about precious metals and numismatics. He was very knowledgeable and was a great help with my purchase. I’ll be back most definitely.

Frequently asked questions about antique stores in Indianapolis

What types of antiques can I typically find in Indianapolis antique stores?

Indianapolis’ antique stores offer a surprisingly diverse range of items. You can commonly find furniture, including Victorian pieces, mid-century modern designs, and early American craftsmanship. Expect to see a lot of silverware, china, glassware, and lighting. Many stores also carry textiles like quilts, rugs, and linens, as well as collectible artwork and decorative objects. The specific inventory will vary by store.

How much do antiques typically cost?

The prices of antiques in Indianapolis can vary enormously. A small, everyday item like a vintage teacup might cost a few dollars, whereas a high-quality antique armchair or a valuable piece of furniture could easily cost several thousand dollars. Condition, rarity, and historical significance are key factors influencing the price. It’s wise to set a realistic budget before you start browsing and remember that negotiation is often possible, especially on larger items.

What should I look for when evaluating the condition of an antique?

Carefully examining an antique’s condition is crucial. Look for signs of wear and tear, such as cracks, chips, fading, or repairs. Pay attention to the restoration history – while some restoration can be beneficial, excessive or poorly executed restoration can significantly decrease an item’s value. Assess the original finish and the quality of the construction. A knowledgeable owner can often provide valuable insights into a piece's past and any necessary repairs.

Are there any specific antique stores in Indianapolis that are particularly well-regarded?

Indianapolis boasts several highly regarded antique stores. The Indianapolis Antique Market is a large, regularly-held event featuring many vendors. Established stores like The Blue Heron Antique Mall and Willow Creek Antiques are consistently praised for their selection and knowledgeable staff. It’s worth researching stores based on your specific interests - some specialize in furniture, others in jewelry or vintage clothing.

How can I determine the authenticity of an antique?

Determining an antique’s authenticity can be complex. Researching the maker’s mark, hallmarks, and any documentation associated with the item is a good starting point. Consult with a qualified appraiser or expert for a professional assessment. Be wary of items that seem "too good to be true," and consider the seller’s reputation. Look for signs of age-appropriate wear and consistent materials.

What about buying online antique stores based in Indianapolis?

Many Indianapolis antique stores have an online presence, allowing you to browse their inventory from anywhere. However, it's essential to exercise caution when purchasing online. Carefully review the seller’s return policy, check for detailed photographs, and ask questions about the item’s condition and provenance. Shipping costs and the potential for damage during transit should also be considered.

Should I bring a specialist with me when shopping for antiques?

Depending on the type of antique you are interested in, bringing a specialist – perhaps a furniture restorer, a silver specialist, or a textile conservator – can be extremely beneficial. They can help you identify potential issues, accurately assess value, and understand the best way to care for the item. It’s often a worthwhile investment to ensure you're making an informed purchase.

What kind of services do antique stores typically offer?

Many Indianapolis antique stores offer a range of services, including appraisal services, furniture restoration, cleaning, and consignment. Some stores also provide shipping arrangements for out-of-state buyers. It’s beneficial to inquire about these services during your initial visit to see if they align with your needs.

Are there any upcoming antique shows or markets in Indianapolis?

Yes, Indianapolis regularly hosts antique shows and markets. The Indianapolis Antique Market, held several times a year, is a major event. The Indianapolis Commerce Center also hosts periodic markets. Checking local listings and online event calendars will reveal upcoming opportunities to browse and purchase antiques from a wide range of vendors. Seasonal events are also common.

What are some tips for negotiating a price at an antique store?

Negotiation is often expected, particularly on larger items. Be polite and respectful, and always start with a reasonable offer. Research the item's market value beforehand to support your offer. Point out any flaws or imperfections to justify a lower price. Be prepared to walk away if the seller isn’t willing to meet your terms. Remember, confidence and knowledge are your best tools when negotiating.
