What started as simply leaving the house post-pandemic to see humans again in 2020 has evolved to absolute passion for this place! Not just body transformation, mental clarity and inspiration for all that life brings outside the studio! Love sweatin it out with my friends, family + Hot Room Community!

I’ve visited numerous heated fitness studios in Texas, Florida, Chicago, Louisiana — there truly is no place like home at The Hot Room
Highly recommend – don’t know where I’d be without their support while caring for and losing my dad to lung cancer. All the more reason to enjoy every breath – each is a gift
Thank you for your love and uplifting light, Hot Room!!

I started my first class in June and I haven’t stopped! I was very nervous the first time but as I walked in, I was immediately greeted and my name was said back to me. I got a shout out during the class which made me feel included and apart of something! I wanted to try something new when moving to Indianapolis and I am so glad I did! I have built reporte with instructors, and gained a sense of belonging and community! I look forward to every class. I promise you won’t know if you like it until after 2 classes, so give it a try! You owe it to yourself, and this is the best place to do it! Thanks Uptown Hot Room!

I have been coming to the studio for a long time now and this was legitimately one of the best classes that I have ever been to at THR if not the best class I’ve ever been to. Jess has an amazing presence and takes the time to explain everything in a way that encourages you to go deeper into your practice. It was a marvelous experience! I definitely want to get back in one of her classes.

If I could give a rating higher than 10, I would! Laurie helps the class with her explanations and the whys behind each pose. In addition, she helps individuals make adjustments during poses, which is an incredible gift. Laurie is a gifted teacher, teacher’s teacher, and mentor. The Hot Room and the world are better because she’s in them!

Today I had an amazing yoga session — truly one of the best. I’ve been practicing yoga for years and had been searching for a good instructor here in Indiana for quite a while without any luck. But the instructor, Kelly (I think that’s her name), was exactly what I’d been looking for. It wasn’t a hot yoga class — just a regular session without heat — and it was perfect. I feel absolutely renewed

Stopped in for my first hot yoga class in years. I had a great experience and look forward to coming back. The Sunday am class was not so packed to where you were on top of each other like some other studios. I loved the studio and the playlist! It was upbeat and a great workout overall. Parking was easy and free on a Sunday!

I would like to highlight YogaSix for their incredible community. I am a huge wellness advocate and I am so glad I joined YogaSix. I have tried a few Pilates studios/Hot Yoga studios in Indy and YogaSix is my absolute favorite. They have been so welcoming since the moment I booked my first class. The heated classes, the music, the coaches, the front desk team all 10 out of 10. Plus did I mention the cool events they host and the cold eucalyptus towels after class?! Every week I look forward to taking Power Sculpt with Liz she’s so amazing! I am beyond happy with my membership here. YogaSix is the best Yoga Studio in Indy! You can catch me at the Wednesday night & Saturday morning Power Sculpt in the 2nd Row!!

Yoga Six has been an awesome fitness and yoga community for me since joining a year ago. The instructors, the music, the atmosphere are lovely no matter what class you take. It could be hot, power, or sculpt for a more upbeat challenge (expect to sweat ) OR slow flow, restorative style for a relaxing class. They celebrate you and care about your experience + the instructors are so kind and motivating!

Had the opportunity to take a class with Liz as the instructor, I signed up online with a promo of three classes for $36 and seven days. I had done hot yoga in the past and appreciated the opportunity to get back into it with such a dynamic instructor for the sculpt class. Liz, incredible high energy, the room was a vibrant and action packed with folks being the best version of themselves. I appreciate her energy, candor, and affirmations throughout the workout. The front staff was great, welcoming and informative regarding the space and the experience. Although the space is small, the welcoming and community-like atmosphere allowed for it to feel comfortable working around people.

Invoke has felt like home to me since joining early last year. Everyone is so friendly & welcoming, & there’s a wonderful array of class & instructor options. I especially appreciate everyone’s invitational language & the encouragement to focus on & strengthen our own practice *outside* of the studio.

I also completed their 200-hour YTT program May 2024 & I could not speak more highly of the quality & variety of the curriculum & lead instructors. So grateful I signed up for their program & then became a Warrior member!

I won a free two week unlimited mat classes pass on their Instagram raffle. I’ve been to classes for the past week or so and it was been amazing!

The studio is super close to work so I can use the culture trail to get there. The have clases going up until 7 pm. So I have a chance to get some workout in even if I’m late from work.

The instructors are super attentive and followed up with me after the class to see how I was going and if they could do anything else to support me as take the first couple of classes.

Overall a great experience and I definetly keep coming back!

The genuine love, compassion, and sincerity I felt as soon as I sat down in my first visit was immediate. She’s an angel among us that can only be described as doing God’s work. I will not be able to explain everything done in my visit to give it justice, but I walk away so much better physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I can only express my gratitude by sharing goodness with others the way that Laura did me. Her expertise and heart culminate into an experience, that I can only wish for everyone. I’ve had the greatest experience here at club Pilates in downtown Indianapolis. Every one of their instructors is top-notch and I have really enjoyed the classes. Their team is very helpful and accommodating. My body has felt stronger by attending classes. The downside is the parking at this location. If you go on a Sunday, it’s free public parking, but otherwise it’s hard to find parking in the neighborhood to avoid paying on weekdays and Saturdays. Sometimes it was difficult to get into a class because of the availability and scheduling. But other than that, I would highly recommend their facility.

Santosha is my favorite yoga studio in all of Indianapolis. There is a deep underlying current of tradition and spirituality and healthiness that is wonderfully balanced with the fun upbeat energy of the classes and teachers there. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. I always feel I am exactly where I need to be when I am there and after class I am always glad I carved out time in my day for taking care of myself through yoga practice. I can’t recommend Santosha enough for all levels of yogis. Also- massages with Shiela are other-worldly! 🙂 She has a very intuitive gift and always knows exactly what my body needs to restore and relax.

I have been going to Santosha regularly for the past 6 weeks and I always leave feeling better than when I arrive. I’d never been to a yoga class in my life before walking in and noted the staff have been incredibly welcoming of practitioners of all abilities. The staff are extremely friendly/welcoming and have the ability to transfer their deep knowledge and understanding of yoga with humility. The school carries such a positive energy and has a feeling of entering an old friends household rather than a workout studio. Whether you’re brand new yoga like me or deep into your practice, I’d highly recommend!

I tend to float around between a few different yoga studios in town, but Santosha has very much become my favorite! I first practiced yoga here back when it was a one-room studio, so it’s nice to see how much it’s grown in its current location with a wide variety of classes all to nourish the mind, body, and spirit. There’s truly something for everybody, whether you’re looking for an athletic practice or strictly to relax and chill, there are classes for you (plus if you’re on a budget, there are several $5 classes available each week and an unlimited membership is only $79 a month!).

I’m so happy I decided to have our surprise office Christmas party activity here. I brought a staff of 12 people and ALL enjoyed the YOGA AND THAI-YOGA MASSAGE experience tremendously. I especially enjoyed the personalized attention and care that Kathy Busso did from the very first time I spoke to her. She was very attentive and helpful and kept in touch with me so well throughout the process. The activity space was just perfect- both spacious and serene/inviting. Kathy and her girls provided the best Thai-Yoga massages. And they are doable, realistic adjustments! Thank you, Santosha school! Keep up the great work, as you are a true asset to the community.

I began practicing yoga to Santosha a little over 2 years ago and I have never left. I love it here. The atmosphere is so welcoming, it becomes like a second home. The teachers are incredible and truly care so deeply for the practice itself and any way they can share it with you. This wonderful place is more than just a yoga studio. I have attended wonderful classes that include Ayurveda, emotional healing, massage, Tai Chi and meditation. They work so hard to encompass not just the physical, but the emotional and spiritual aspects of life without becoming overbearing, preachy or spacey.
I truly love being a student of this incredible studio. This place has helped change my life in so many way that I honestly didn’t believe was even possible.

Starting yoga well into my 40’s wasn’t easy: there were many tangles and kinks to work out, physically and otherwise. Santosha School has been a welcoming place to roll out my mat and work through it all, guided and encouraged by some of the most experienced and caring souls I know. After several years of practice here, I enrolled in the teacher training program and am now growing my practice in another way. I feel so much better – physically, mentally and spiritually. And now my family has joined in the yoga goodness too!

To say that attending classes at kOMpose is an integral piece of my mental health healing journey, is a gross understatement. From the down-to-earth, friendly, and loving vibe to all of the instructors I’ve encountered, they are second to none. There is no question, I was meant to find you…

I’ve been attending Kompose in Broad Ripple for about three years now, and it’s truly become one of my favorite places to land and reset. From the moment you walk in, there’s a calming, welcoming energy that makes you feel like you’re part of something special.

I’ve especially loved their yin yoga classes, which have helped me find deep rest and release, and the full moon flows always feel like a soulful reset. The sound baths are beautifully immersive, and the breathwork sessions I’ve attended have been powerful—both grounding and expansive.

What really sets Kompose apart, though, is the community vibe. It’s more than a yoga studio—it’s a space to reconnect with yourself and others in a supportive, heart-centered environment. So grateful for the teachers, the energy, and the intention behind this space. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

As a plus size woman who is new to yoga, I have struggled to find a space in Indianapolis to practice yoga where I not only feel accommodated, but also celebrated. Kompose does this. Every class I have taken has had incredibly kind instructors (who are also so human – giggling during classes, making jokes, but also leading by example on how to show ourselves compassion and ground ourselves in gratitude and peace) and the people in the class are always incredibly diverse. It is hands down the most comfortable I have ever felt in any fitness space, both because of the teachers but also the students. Teachers offer instructions for every skill level and body type and I have genuinely never felt more comfortable and safe enough to explore and further my yoga practice. I love Kompose and I could not speak more highly of it! If you’re thinking about giving it a try, go for it! This is the place to start!

Kompose is one of the best yoga studios that I’ve been to in Indianapolis. I’d like to give a shout out to Melanie, for taking the time with us and slowing down the practice. There are far too many places where the practice is rushed. And I’d also like to give praise to Katarina for guiding my attention to the places where I am not supported in my life. We all need support!
These are the only teachers I’ve taken classes with. So far, absolutely outstanding. Thank you.

I went to my first class yesterday at Kompose and I was so impressed with the staff, the quality of the class, and the cozy ambience of the studio. The instructor introduced herself and made an effort to make me feel comfortable on my first day, which I really appreciated. They offer both heated and non heated class options, so you def have choices based on your preferences. I highly recommend this studio for your yoga needs!

The instructor’s clear cues and patient pacing help newcomers feel safe while challenging others to deepen their practice. Each pose is adapted for stability on the board, making focus and mindfulness accessible. The experience leaves you feeling refreshed, centered, and ready to embrace a new sense of clarity and strength.

On the water, the class emphasizes confidence developed through incremental challenges and supportive guidance. What an amazing family bonding experience!

My four children ranging from 16 to 5 loved every minute of it. My seven-year-old didn’t want to get on the water and Trisha was so kind and patient with him and he was able to stay with Nana on the shore.

Trisha planned and executed the most perfect private SUP Yoga session at my home for me and several of my friends. Her hard work and dedication is top tier! Everything was taken care of with great detail and professionalism. Ranging from invites to weather monitoring, instruction, safety to the amazing paddle board yoga session on the water. Including a sunset sound bath session to end the evening. Truly one of the best experiences for and with my friends!

We had a private session at a friend’s house, and it was a blast! Trisha gave thorough paddling and safety instructions, then we were fitted with a paddle and hit the water. Some folks needed some help getting to a standing position, and Trisha’s group was very patient and helped as much as anyone wanted. Everyone in our group was up paddling, and many of us tried some yoga moves. Trisha showed us some amazing flow and positions on the board too. A number of us want to try her regular SUP yoga classes because we had so much fun.

If you could imagine the best experience of your life, this experience is even better than that. I am a yoga fanatic but I’d never been on a paddle board. While I was on the water, I felt like a kid in a candy store, Christmas morning, my birthday, like I was on top of the world ; Trisha made my experience euphoric! I have been telling everyone I know about Pure Soul Paddle Board Yoga, can’t wait for my next section, I will be booking very soon. Thank you Trisha

I am grateful for the community of Myriad Yoga and Myriad Health + Fitness. Marta (Yoga) is the best instructor I have ever had. She does an amazing job cultivating an experience where people of all backgrounds and ability levels feel welcome and comfortable. I feel safe and at peace during my practice.

Jared (H&F) and his team do a great job in making sure all class participants get the attention they need in order to reach there goals and also ensure they stay healthy during strenuous workouts. The classes are easily scalable so that people of all ability levels can participant and improve their overall health and wellness.

We are very lucky to have an independent gym in Indianapolis where people of all backgrounds can work to reach their goals. I am very fortunate to be a member at Myriad.

Attending classes as Myriad Yoga has been an awesome addition to my fitness routine. Their friendly and knowledgeable staff has helped me recover more effectively from my other fitness classes throughout the week, and has also provided me with opportunities to try new skills and expand my yoga practice at a comfortable pace. I started attending classes with no yoga experience and I have had ample options to chose from in terms of the classes offered, so I think that the studio would have options available whether you have never set foot on a yoga mat or if you have been honing your practice for years.

Had the pleasure of dropping in while I was in Indianapolis. Setting up the drop in was easy through the website. Filled out the form and got a quick email and text. The coach, Richie I believe, we friendly and welcoming. Equipment was in good shape and the workout was fun. It looks like there’s some construction in progress and the gym will improve even more. If I’m back in Indy, I’m sure I’ll drop in again.

    Consultations and Case Assessment

Civil attorneys provide consultations and case assessment to help clients understand their legal position and potential options. They review the facts, identify applicable statutes, and outline likely outcomes based on precedent and current rules. A thorough assessment includes evaluating evidence, mapping timelines, and clarifying the steps required to move forward. Such insights can guide decisions about settlement versus litigation and help clients set realistic expectations. The process often involves discussing required documents, relevant witnesses, and potential costs or fees associated with different paths. These consultations emphasize strategic planning and the importance of aligning legal strategy with personal or business goals.

    Contract Drafting and Review

Civil attorneys specialize in contract drafting and review to protect clients from unintended obligations and to smooth commercial transactions. They ensure that terms are clear, enforceable, and balanced, with careful attention to risk allocation, liability limits, and dispute resolution clauses. Drafting services commonly cover purchase agreements, service contracts, leases, and vendor arrangements, incorporating boilerplate protections and regulatory compliance. When reviewing documents, attorneys identify ambiguities, inconsistent terms, and excessive penalties that could expose clients to unnecessary risk. The goal is to create agreements that are transparent, enforceable, and adaptable to changing circumstances.

    Dispute Resolution and Mediation

Civil attorneys facilitate dispute resolution and mediation to resolve conflicts outside the courtroom whenever possible. They prepare clients for mediation, select appropriate neutral third-party mediators, and structure negotiations to pursue fair settlements. Mediation sessions focus on preserving relationships while achieving practical outcomes, with careful attention to confidential discussions and the protection of sensitive information. Attorneys also draft and memorialize any settlements into enforceable agreements that reflect the negotiated terms. When mediation is unsuccessful, they help clients evaluate alternative paths, including arbitration or next-step litigation.

    Litigation and Court Representation

Civil attorneys offer litigation and court representation across a broad spectrum of civil matters. They manage case strategy, file and respond to pleadings, and oversee discovery to gather essential evidence. Throughout the process, they prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs designed to advance a client’s position. Trial preparation includes organizing witnesses, evaluating expert testimony, and developing evidence-based arguments to present in court. If necessary, they handle post-trial matters and potential appeals to pursue further relief or clarification of legal standards. The aim is to protect client rights while pursuing a favorable and just outcome through procedural precision and persuasive advocacy.

    Property and Real Estate Matters

In property and real estate matters, civil attorneys address issues such as title ambiguities, boundary disputes, and disputes arising from leases or purchases. They perform due diligence on transactions, review title reports, and assess encumbrances that could affect ownership or use. Attorneys negotiate terms for real estate contracts and help resolve conflicts between buyers, sellers, tenants, and landlords. They also handle matters involving property development, zoning compliance, and foreclosure or eviction proceedings when appropriate. Through careful documentation and strategic negotiation, clients gain clarity and protection in real estate ventures.

    Employment and Labor Law Guidance

Civil attorneys provide guidance on employment and labor law issues, including workplace rights, contracts, and compliance with regulations. They advise on wage disputes, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination, ensuring that policies align with applicable laws. Drafting and reviewing employee handbooks, employment agreements, and non-compete or non-disclosure agreements helps minimize risk for employers and protect the interests of employees. They also help with workplace investigations, severance considerations, and strategies for resolving disputes through internal processes or external remedies. The focus is on equitable treatment, transparent processes, and lawful operations.

    Personal Injury and Tort Claims

Civil attorneys manage personal injury and tort claims by evaluating fault, damages, and liability, and by pursuing appropriate compensation on behalf of clients. They assess medical records, lost wages, and pain and suffering to build a comprehensive damages picture. Attorneys negotiate with insurance companies, prepare demand letters, and, when needed, file and prosecute claims in court. They work to secure fair settlements or successful verdicts that reflect the full impact of the incident. Throughout, they prioritize clear communication, evidence collection, and adherence to procedural timelines to maximize outcomes.

    Consumer Protection and Business Compliance

In the realm of consumer protection and business compliance, civil attorneys help clients understand rights against unfair practices and defective products. They review advertising claims, monitor compliance with consumer laws, and advise on regulatory requirements affecting operations. Attorneys assist with internal policy development to prevent violations and to respond effectively to investigations or enforcement actions. When disputes arise, they pursue remedies through negotiations, administrative proceedings, or litigation as appropriate. The objective is to safeguard stakeholders, maintain ethical practices, and promote lawful business conduct.

Frequently asked questions about yoga studios in Indianapolis

What services and class types do yoga studios in Indianapolis offer?

Yoga studios in Indianapolis typically offer a range of class types to suit different goals and experience levels. You’ll commonly find Flow or Vinyasa settings, Hatha and Iyengar-style classes focused on alignment, and Yin or Restorative sessions for relaxation. Many studios also host specialty workshops, meditation sessions, and teacher training programs. For prenatal or postnatal needs, look for specialized prenatal classes as well.

How can I find a good yoga studio in Indianapolis?

To find a good yoga studio in Indianapolis, start with local recommendations, then read online reviews and check for experienced instructors. Look for a studio with trial or intro passes so you can sample the space before committing. Consider factors like convenient location, clean facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere. It can also help to observe a class or request a short tour to gauge the vibe and safety practices.

Do studios in Indianapolis offer beginner classes and what should I expect?

Most studios provide beginner-friendly classes or foundations courses to introduce basics. Expect a slower pace, careful instruction on alignment, and frequent modifications for different bodies. In your first visit, instructors may offer a short orientation and guidance on how to use props like blocks and straps. You should feel encouraged to ask questions and to go at a pace that feels safe.

What should I bring and how should I dress for a class?

For most classes, bring a yoga mat (or use the studio’s mats if provided) and a water bottle. Dress in comfortable, flexible clothing that allows full range of motion. You may want a towel for sweat, and avoid strong fragrances that can affect others. Arrive a few minutes early to settle in and check in with staff if you have questions about equipment or safety.

How do pricing and memberships typically work?

Pricing often includes a mix of drop-in classes, monthly memberships, and class passes. Look for clear cancellation policies and any education or student discounts that may apply. Some studios offer a free first class or discounted intro package to welcome new practitioners. If you plan to practice regularly, a bundled option can provide the best value.

What are the different class formats and what do they mean?

Common formats include Flow or Vinyasa with continuous movement, Hatha for foundational postures, Iyengar-style focusing on precise alignment, and Yin or Restorative for deep stretching and relaxation. Some studios offer hot yoga in heated rooms, while others emphasize equipment-assisted guidance using blocks and straps. Understanding the pace and intent of each format helps you choose what suits you best.

How are safety, modifications, and accessibility handled?

Qualified instructors present modifications and encourage you to listen to your body. Studios typically offer props like blocks, straps, and bolsters to support balance and alignment. If you have injuries or mobility concerns, share them with the instructor so they can provide adapted options and ensure a safe practice. For pregnancy or medical conditions, seek guidance on suitable classes and no-stress adjustments.

What should I know about scheduling, cancellations, and parking in Indianapolis?

Most studios provide online scheduling where you can reserve spots in advance. It’s important to note cancellation windows to avoid fees and to respect the needs of other participants. Parking options vary by studio location, with some offering on-site spaces or nearby street parking. If you rely on public transit, check whether the studio is near transit stops for a smoother commute.

What is the studio culture regarding inclusivity and privacy?

Many Indianapolis studios strive for an inclusive environment that welcomes practitioners of all body types, abilities, and backgrounds. A respectful atmosphere emphasizes privacy and personal space, with instructors guiding your practice in a non-judgmental way. Dress codes are generally relaxed, focusing on comfort and safety rather than fashion. If you have privacy concerns, you can inquire about how your practice is handled during recordings or demonstrations.

How can I evaluate an instructor's qualifications and communication?

Instructors typically share their certifications and specialized training on studio bios. Look for credentials such as a RYT-200 or equivalent from a recognized program. A good teacher communicates clearly, offers adjustments when needed, and explains the breathing cues and alignment principles behind each pose. You should feel comfortable asking questions and receiving thoughtful feedback about your practice.
