The Appliance Guys

Don’t waste your time with this company. I signed up online for an appointment for 3/4/26 between the hours of noon and 5:00. I received a confirmation "Hi Dxxxx, Thank you for scheduling your appliance service with Bodewell's authorized servicer, APPLIANCE GUYS OF INDIANAPOLIS LLC, we are excited to help you with your appliance. Your appointment is scheduled for Wednesday, 3/4/2026 between 12:00 PM-5:00 PM. Your Service Appointment number is: SA-2322185. Someone 18 or over must be present, appliance must be accessible and secure all pets." I have yet to see a repair person or receive a call, text or email from Bodewell’s or the Appliance Guys with an apology for wasting my time waiting on them. After (later) reading previous reviews, this is the way they routinely do business…

The Technician Brent was fabulous. He had us back up and running quickly. He was friendly and very knowlegdeble. The process easy and the technician was promp and professional. Would certainly use them again for our next appliance repair!

Unfortunately, I would not recommend the Appliance Guys. Firstly, the repair tech showed up at 5:15pm, outside of the expected window of time given to me for the appointment. He did not call me until almost 5:00, at which point I assumed he wasn’t coming. Secondly, he did not wear shoe booties inside my home; instead he tracked in a trail of snow and mud throughout my house to the washer and dryer. It was a mess. Thirdly, five minutes after his arrival, he declared he could not service my dryer due to the location. I explained to him how to move the appliance to get to the vent, and he declined. Therefore, NO service was performed, yet I had pre-paid for the appointment. I called the office multiple times and emailed them. I never received a single response to this poor customer experience. Do not recommend at all.

Brent is awesome!! Angela Amber and Kimberly have been awesome as well!!! I had a heck of a time getting stuff done but it's perfectly fine it's fixed and no more going to the Landry mat!!!

Both Charles (on site) and the office staff were excellent to work with. They were professional, responsive, thoughtful, timely, communicative and effective. Given the circumstances we couldn't have expected more than we got in service. Their analysis and their solution were on-target. Very appreciative.

I used The Appliance Guys to repair my dryer and spent about $400 on the repair. Less than a year later, the dryer stopped working again. When I called, I was told their warranty is only 90 days, so they would not stand behind the work. They also said it would be around $100 just to diagnose the issue again, even though this was a relatively recent repair on the same appliance. For a repair that didn’t last a year, this is very disappointing. There was no attempt to offer a discount, goodwill, or any customer-friendly solution. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company if you expect them to stand behind their work.

The technician I believe his name was Brent. Was knowledgeable, courteous, though my issue could not be resolved in one visit, due to no fault of his own. I trust he will be able to fix my issue when he returns. I like the fact I will have the same technician someone who's already aware of the situation and not somebody with no real knowledge of the issue will be returning to complete my repair.
