DO NOT dine here if you are alone! Had to wait 15 minutes for others to enter because I wanted solo hibachi and they only accommodate 2 or more guests. Go to Hino Oishi in Carmel for the better food, better atmosphere, and they have never denied me for solo hibachi when they have been slow! Server treated me differently than the family I had to wait to dine with. I am hoping the only reason was the fact that I was dining alone and not the difference in our ethnicities. I normally don’t write reviews but I wish I would’ve known so I could’ve went to my normal spot. Will not be returning, even with a larger party.

First hibachi experience and they let me have it. They threw food in my mouth, squirted the sauce at me and it was a fun time. The chef was great did a great job on the steak and shrimp and had great aim Fried rice + (medium) steak and shrimp was very good. Would go back soon!

First off - the food is phenomenal. It is fresh, made to order, good portions, great prices. The shumai is honestly so well cooked I order it every time. The staff is great - the servers are all on top of tables - quickly refilling any low drinks and checking for empty plates to remove. The chef is top notch - the food is phenomenal. The managers are nice and keep a good eye out. The wine/beer/sake selection is quite fitting and they also have a full alcohol bar unlike many sushi/hibachi joints. Shoutout to my favorite server Maria.

We had hibachi dinner here and the food was excellent! We had the steak and salmon hibachi combo, the chef cooked each to our preference, along with fried rice and vegetables. I can't wait to go back! They also have sushi which I would love to try!

A great Hibachi show, comparable to other places (minus the egg tricks), along with all the vegetables, dipping sauces and sides for a reasonable price. The two shrimp that came with every meal was a delighted surprise. Both scallops and filet mignon were cooked to the desired textures. And like my friend said, "there is something special about that fried rice that came right off the griddle." The place was quite warm due to the open griddle.

⸻ ⭐ 1 Star (and if I could give zero, I would) The appearance was not appealing at all, and the taste was completely nonexistent. The rice was damn near white—no seasoning, not even basic salt or pepper. Absolutely bland and flavorless. This food was nasty, disgusting, and not worth anyone’s time or money. 10/10 would NOT recommend
